ISAIAH 12
Key verse: V2a “Behold, God is my salvation: I will trust, and not be afraid: ...”
Have you ever wonder what you will be doing in the Millennium and in Heaven? Is it an exciting place or it is a boring place? This short but revealing passage speaks of the Millennium and Heaven, the home of God.
1. Heaven is Praise
V1 “And in that day thou shalt say, O Lord, I will praise thee: ...”
V4 “... Praise the Lord, call upon His name, declare His doings among the people, …”
When we are in heaven, we will realize that heaven is entirely different from our perception while we are living on earth. When we realize that we are on the portals of heaven, saved from the fiery pits of hell, nothing can express our thankfulness and gratitude except we praise God forever and ever.
2. Heaven is Music
V2 “…for the Lord JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; ...”
V5 “Sing unto the Lord; for He hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.”
Music is one of the powerful tools to influence man’s emotion. Music is a universal language that transcends all languages, cultures, nations, tribes, etc. God has created music for man’s enjoyment and leisure. Indeed, heaven is a place of music where the perfect music shall be the background of our stay in heaven.
3. Heaven is Joy
V3 “Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.”
There shall be no sorrow, pain, suffering, death but it shall be joy throughout heaven! Everyone shall be joyful praising, singing and exalting with God.
4. Heaven is God
V6 “Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.”
The most wonderful description of heaven is God is there! We can have praises and music and everything that man desires but without God in heaven, it is the most miserable place! It is like a relationship when a man loves a woman, it is not the place, the setting, the food, the music, the ambience, etc. but the fact that he wants to be with the woman he loves dearly!

There is no place like heaven.
